49ers (3-0): 30 - Giants (1-2): 12
Brock Purdy continues to shine as the starting quarterback for San Francisco, maintaining an undefeated record in regular season games when he's in charge. Purdy had an outstanding performance, passing for 310 yards and 2 touchdowns. Christian McCaffrey also made a significant contribution, gaining 119 yards from scrimmage and scoring 1 rushing touchdown. McCaffrey extended his touchdown streak to 12 consecutive games, tying Jerry Rice for a 49ers franchise record. He has had an incredible start to the season, averaging 118 yards per game through 3 weeks. San Francisco receiver Deebo Samuel had an impressive night on Thursday, finishing with 129 receiving yards on 6 catches, including a touchdown. Although the Giants seemed competitive in the first quarter, the 49ers broke the 3-3 tie and never looked back. New York was thoroughly dominated on both sides of the ball, with Daniel Jones struggling both on the ground and in the air, especially without their star player, Saquon Barkley. The 49ers are proving their hunger for a Super Bowl, with their offensive weapons unstoppable and their defense formidable against opponents.
